Stations of the Cross – Will be prayed in the Church each Friday evening during Lent at 7.30pm. All are welcome.
“The light is on” – St Agatha’s (and Churches throughout Broken Bay) will be open on Friday evenings in Lent for quiet prayer and the sacrament of Reconciliation. At St Agatha’s, this will be for the hour following the Stations.
Arrangements for Good Friday
On Good Friday afternoon, there will be no parking immediately outside the Church. We plan to have a traffic attendant who could direct drivers to drop passengers near the Church. There is still parking in the lower car park and on the school grounds.
Extra chairs will be placed in the foyer and at the front of the Church for the Good Friday ceremony at 3pm.
The sacrament of Reconciliation will be available after the 10am Stations of the Cross and after the 3pm Ceremony.
A reminder that the Easter Vigil on Saturday evening (31st March) begins at 7pm. Also note that on Easter Sunday Mass will be celebrated at all the usual times. This includes 6pm Easter Sunday evening where there will be Easter Carols beginning at 5.30pm followed by a beautiful sung Mass.
