Joseph and Mary were entrusted with the raising of the child Jesus, who grew in wisdom and stature under their care.

Today is an opportunity to honour Abraham and Sarah, and the Holy Family and to be inspired by them.

The family unit is the foundation of any society and civilisation. If family life is strong, if the values that guide family life are strong, if they are values of love, generosity, peace, reconciliation, forgiveness, understanding, cooperation, self-sacrifice, self-control…. then this serves society and serves all humanity.

Remember the Lord wishes to be the foundation and strength of your marriage and family life.
