LITURGICAL AND SPIRITUAL PROGRAMS

Pastoral Visits and Ecumenical Prayer Services
To the best of our resources, we like to keep in touch with the faithful who may have moved into local nursing homes. We visit the retirement villages regularly throughout the year and share our spirituality and friendship with the residents. Our schedule of priest’s pastoral visits are posted in the bulletin. We also have volunteers who visit people in the homes and the Blessed Sacrament is distributed by special ministers to those in nursing homes as well as those who are housebound. Please let us know if you, a relative or friend, has a change of circumstances and needs a visit.

Sacramental
Anointing of the sick and prayer services are held three times a year in hostels, nursing homes and retirement villages followed by lunch.

Special Masses in the Parish Church
Anointing Masses are held three times a year at St Agatha’s Church followed by morning tea.
Individual Anointing is always available upon request.

A Remembrance Mass is held in November followed by supper.

Details are in our parish bulletin two weeks before the Masses.
