St Vincent de Paul Society in Pennant Hills has dedicated members who provide emergency assistance to people who are down on their luck, and need help with energy bills, telephone, food, medical supplies, and clothes etc.
Our only source of income is our two yearly appeals. The winter appeal is very important because it comes as the temperatures are cooling and the electricity and gas bills start to grow.
Please give generously as you always do, but please also consider joining SVdP to try and help people in need.
For enquiries call Elemer Turchanyi (President) on 0401 688 579.
Thanks and may God bless you all – Elemer.

To see some of the good work Vinnies do go to their website here.
Alternatively, here is a beautiful video by Hackham East Primary School students in Adelaide, focusing on Fred’s van food service. Made possible by the work and commitment of more than 550 volunteers, the mobile food service is aimed at people who are experiencing homelessness, or are at risk of homelessness and marginalisation in Adelaide.Aside from providing a warm, nutritious meal, fruit and drinks, the service also offers blankets and beanies, at ten sites across South Australia.
MAKE A HEROIC DONATION
This winter, heroes can be found in the most unlikely places. Some will be finding the courage to rebuild their own lives. Others will be donating their precious time to Vinnies, volunteering to help Australians in need.
